Do I need a boater's license to operate a boat in Florida?

To operate a boat requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card.  â€‹You can obtain a temporary safety certificate easily at this link - https://www.boat-ed.com/floridarental/?tap_a=20415-39769e&tap_s=232637-895530.

Can I hire a captain to operate the boat?

Absolutely, you may hire or bring your own captain.  We can provide a list of local captains upon request but you must hire the captain directly.  A hired captain is considered crew and does not count against the passenger.   The physical capacity of our boats allow for a crew member.

How many passengers are allowed on your private charters or guided tours?

Up to six (6) passengers, in addition to the captain.  For guided tours you can book any number of available spots.  Tours require a minimum booking of four (4) total passengers to take place.

What is the registration process?

Once you have booked, you will recieve a registration email.  The registration outlines operating guidelines and the rental agreement.  The boat driver and passengers must accept the terms of the agreement.  It is a two minute process but we suggest you complete before arrival to avoid departure delays.

Where do we park and board the boat?
